Millom Network Centre held their first car boot sale/indoor table top sale at the end of February giving many people the first chance to look around the Millom Work and Skills Centre.

Weather conditions meant that activities took place indoors and not using the Centre’s large car park area. The refreshments stall was well received serving coffee, tea and biscuits.

As well as visiting the sales stalls buying books, toys, furniture, trinkets and bric a brac etc, new Centre tenant Sarah Sharpe opened her doors to her shop selling such things as soaps, scented candles and lamps.

People also looked around the Centre’s meeting rooms, office and work shop space, IT suite and storage spaces available for rent on short term or long term flexible agreements.

It is hoped at future table top/car boot sales that MNC Ltd can provide stalls reflecting course and training activities held at the Millom Work and Skills Centre from the horticulture or garden area, the woodwork and craft making workshop and the cooking and kitchen sessions.

We are already planning our next event and now invite interested future stall holders to get in touch and participate in a fun day to come. Hopefully the weather will be better and we can also be outside with more activities and catering for everyone to enjoy.
